Grandmaster Ki Whang Kim was a visionary and pioneer in the establishment of Korean Karate or Tang Soo Do in America in the early 1960s. His impact on countless students and masters was immeasurable and serves as the inspiration for our association. We established the association to bring like-minded traditional martial artists together to improve communications between schools, to improve skills and techniques, to improve teaching methods as well as sharing philosophies, and to establish a pathway for promotion and certification.
